Michael VIII Palaeologus, 1261-1282. Trachy (Silver, 26 mm, 1.98 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. Bust of Christ facing; in fields IC - XC and K - K. Rev. Michael VIII, supported by St. Michael, kneeling to right before enthroned Christ; around legend. DOC 43. SB 2244. Very rare. Flan bent and straightened with some flan cracks, otherwise, very fine.
